22485VIC Certificate II in EAL (Access) focus on the development of English language speaking, listening, reading and writing skills together with electives selected to develop relevant knowledge and skills for simple everyday communication and community participation and to enable participants to move into further English language education or vocational training or a combination of both, or employment.
There are no vocational outcomes for this qualification, however on completion of this course the student may go on to study 22485VIC Certificate II in EAL (Access).
Typical program duration: 6 months. Classes are held 2 days a week. Students should also allocate 4 hours per session (2 sessions/week) of self-study
22485VIC Certificate II in EAL (Access) Support is delivered either face to face (class based). Learners will be assessed through questioning, projects, case scenarios, roleplays etc.
